ACT Positive project

On August 31st we organised the multiplier event of the ACT Positive project, a 2-year project co-financed under the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission.

The purpose of the Act Positive project is to promote equal opportunities and the inclusion of second-generation migrants into education and the European labour market, by providing tools for training and empowerment based on the theory and approach of positive psychology.

We discussed how the project has progressed since its kick-off meeting and how we managed to successfully overcome the challenges presented by the COVID19 pandemic.

We additionally discussed how the migrant situation has dramatically changed in Europe since the Russian invasion in Ukraine, making the results of our project more important.

We presented the 4 intellectual outputs developed during the course of the project and the techniques used to develop each one.

We also elaborated on how each intellectual output, paying special attention to the training material and our e-learning platform, can support migrants to overcome the challenges they are faced with in their efforts to join the European workforce.

You can find out more by visiting the project website (https://act-positive.eu/) or by sending an e-mail to ppantziaros@ltsynergy.eu.

We would like to thank the European University Cyprus for hosting our multiplier event at their premises.
