On July 18th, our sustainability journey began! The ESG Essentials consortium met in Malta at the premises of our coordinator, the Maltese Italian Chamber of Commerce, to kick off a project dedicated to the future of business.
Why it matters: This project is all about empowering SMEs, by focusing on improving their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and helping businesses turn sustainability into a competitive advantage.
The shift is crucial: studies indicate that companies with strong ESG ratings can see sales increase by nearly 10% compared to their peers, proving that responsibility and profitability go hand in hand (https://www.cleanhub.com/blog/esg-profitability).
